Filecoin builds on IPFS to provide verifiable, long-term storage via onchain storage deals. Together, IPFS and Filecoin give dApps a decentralized storage layer with guaranteed data persistence.

## Storage helper services

The following services provide IPFS and Filecoin storage for Polygon dApps:

* [Spheron.Network](https://spheron.network/): Deploy, manage, and scale applications using Web3 infrastructure. ([Video walkthrough](https://youtu.be/cxMFpU6q7XI?si=ZCcIH1Segmsly0qE))

* [Lighthouse.storage](https://lighthouse.storage/): Permanent storage on IPFS and Filecoin with a one-time payment model. Supports private data storage and token-gated applications.

* [Web3.storage](https://web3.storage): Store and retrieve data on IPFS and Filecoin. ([Video walkthrough](https://youtu.be/lPEqg6oL3Nk))

* [NFT.Storage Flagship Product](https://nft.storage/nft-storage-flagship-product): NFT storage on IPFS and Filecoin with a one-time fee per GB.
